MOMOLAND, a popular K-Pop girl group, has officially disbanded after an impressive six-year run. The group members announced the news on February 14 through heartfelt, handwritten letters on their respective Instagram accounts.

All six members of MOMOLAND took to Instagram to post identical handwritten letters in both Korean and English announcing their disbandment. Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy apologized to their fans for the late update and thanked them for their unwavering support throughout their time together as a group.

The members of MOMOLAND expressed their gratitude to their fans, “Merries,” for their support and precious memories over the last seven years. Despite going their separate ways, the group emphasized that they will always be a team and support each other’s new beginnings. They also apologized to their fans for not announcing the news sooner, but thanked them for their patience and understanding.
The announcement came after MLD Entertainment, their agency, confirmed that all six members would be leaving following the end of their contracts. MOMOLAND’s fans are sure to miss the group, but the members will undoubtedly go on to achieve even greater heights in their respective careers.
